- Bilbo tells Gandalf he wants no adventures because they only make you late for dinner, but when the dwarves sing about misty mountains and gold, 'something Tookish' wakes up and Bilbo wishes to see mountains and wear a sword. Why does the song make Bilbo start to want the very thing he just said he hated? Use Bilbo's words before and after the song to show what wakes up inside him.
